Preserve local DateTime output; add UTC and pipeline conversion.
Treat zero timestamps as no recorded logon, validate FILETIME values and use invariant string formatting.
Preserve whole-day and TimeSpan uptime outputs.
Support local uptime on Windows, Linux and macOS.
Replace remote WMI queries with CIM, calculate uptime using the server clock, support explicit and prompted credentials, and clean up temporary sessions.
Propagate failures without changing the caller’s error preference.
Update exports, documentation and tests while retaining four-space indentation.
Validation: all 240 tests passed on Linux with PowerShell 7.4.13. The patch applies cleanly to master at 2627889. Remote CIM orchestration is tested with mocks; live Windows connectivity and authentication remain unverified.
