Preserve the historical filename character policy and return rename previews by default.
Support AutoFix with WhatIf/Confirm, collision preflight and deepest-first renaming.
Use literal paths, include hidden entries and avoid traversing or renaming links and junctions.
Preserve LogActivites, add the LogActivities alias and support configurable activity logs.
Check Windows registry value names regardless of data, including unnamed values.
Propagate operational errors and update exports, documentation and tests.
Filesystem renaming is not transactional: an I/O failure may leave earlier renames completed.
Validation: 254 tests passed on Linux with PowerShell 7.4.13; five Windows-only registry integration tests were skipped. The patch applies cleanly after merged PR #11. Windows and macOS CI verification remains pending.
