The desktop cockpit (the app pick, each step, the end of a task, thumbnails, and desktop prompts pushed to Beacon) rides the SignalBus, and only SENTINEL built one. SENTINEL ships off, so a daemon with computer_use.enabled: true and SENTINEL off emitted nothing: Beacon picked an app, the daemon bound it (200), and the pane kept saying "No app picked yet". ComputerWiring.cockpit_bus() builds a bus for the cockpit and wires the desktop prompt channel to it; the daemon asks for it before launching the web bridge, only when SENTINEL built none.
