Summary

  • Adds configurable Logging.AuditExcludeURIPrefixes so clients can skip [AUDIT] for noisy URI prefixes (e.g. metric scrapes).
  • No library default exclusions — empty/nil keeps existing behavior (audit all URIs when audit is enabled).
  • Clients (e.g. mdp) set prefixes in their own config.json, e.g. ["/v1/api/meta/"].

Example (client config)

"Logging": {
  "AuditExcludeURIPrefixes": ["/v1/api/meta/"]
}

Test plan

  • go test ./repository/logging/ -count=1
  • Client sets AuditExcludeURIPrefixes and confirms matching URIs are not audited
  • Without the field, behavior matches today

Meta metric/status scrapes generate high-volume AUDIT noise with little
ops value. Business-route AUDIT is unchanged. Override via
AuditExcludeURIPrefixes (empty slice disables the default exclusion).

Public clients choose which URI prefixes to skip; empty/nil keeps
prior behavior (audit all when EnableAudit is on).
