Squeeze for Craft CMS

Squeeze is a Craft CMS plugin that packages one or more Craft assets into a downloadable ZIP when a visitor asks for them. Build secure download experiences from the files already in Craft without preparing every archive in advance.

Pass selected Craft assets to Squeeze and generate an archive on demand. It works for a single file or a collection, making it suitable for resource packs, media kits, document bundles, and user-selected downloads.

Features

  • Package selected assets into a standard downloadable archive.
  • Use the same workflow for a single source file or a collection.
  • Build the archive when it is requested instead of storing every combination.
  • Protect archive routes with verifiable URL signatures.
  • Limit how long a generated download URL remains valid.
  • Optionally bind a generated download URL to the signed-in user.
  • Respect Craft asset-view permissions for signed-in download requests.
  • Limit downloadable assets to the volumes approved for the project.
  • Choose the files and present the download from project templates.
