Input file templates #3932
Description
Template input files would make it much simpler for new users to modify values and track changes. For example, a large tokamak template could be a standard "base" input file with values that could be overwritten by a "custom" input file to create deviations from it.

I think this is probably something to be done after the data structure is moved from global to object-based.
