Like to know why this package is in maintenance mode?

I see some recent commits but no recent releases as well.

    Hello!
    This library is just not in active feature development and we consider it full featured for its purpose. It will continue to get updates as resources allow, e.g. security fixes compatibility updates, or segment API improvements.
