A throwaway branch that plants one violation for each of the five required checks never seen failing: MSRV, the corrosion offline build, and the fuzz targets layer_id, manifest and dsse_verify. Each of those checks must go red for its planted cause. Other checks going red as collateral is expected. This PR will be closed, never merged, and the run links recorded as potency evidence.

…red checks

MSRV: an API stabilised after Rust 1.89. Fuzz layer_id/manifest/
dsse_verify: a planted crash on a '!!' prefix. Corrosion: the vendored
config names a directory that does not exist. Each targeted check must
go red for its planted cause; this branch is closed after the run.

Gate-potency evidence recorded. Each of the five targeted required checks went red for its planted cause:

  • MSRV: job 119642816011, E0658 mixed_integer_ops_unsigned_sub
  • corrosion offline build: job 119642815867, failed to load source for dependency cdep
  • cargo fuzz (layer_id): job 119642815783; (manifest): job 119642815602; (dsse_verify): job 119642815781. libFuzzer reported a deadly signal at the planted panic.

All 21 required checks have now been seen red for a real cause or carry a built-in negative control. Closing; never merged.
