- Line 151: Keep is_authenticating true after receiving the device code in
authenticateAzure, and reset it only when the authentication request finishes so
the authentication button remains disabled while sign-in is pending.
- Line 154: Update the getAuthCode polling failure handler currently ending in
catch(logError) to restore the wizard’s retryable state and allow the user to
request a device code again. Coordinate retries with the pending authentication
request so a result from the failed attempt cannot update the state or UI of a
newer attempt.
Review comments at @web/pgadmin/misc/cloud/static/js/google_schema.ui.js:
- Line 41: Update the helpMessage link in the Google authentication schema to
use the current “Manage OAuth Clients” guide URL, replacing the outdated
destination while preserving the link text and surrounding help content.

…gadmin-org#9921 The Azure interactive browser authentication never showed the device code or opened the sign-in window, because the button no longer triggered the change that fetched the code; the request then waited until it timed out. Fetch the code directly from the button handler, update the form through the schema state so the code is displayed, stop polling once authentication finishes, let the user retry after a failure, and discard the code from an earlier attempt on the server. The Azure and Google progress messages showed raw HTML, as the wizard footer now renders plain text. On macOS, add /opt/homebrew/bin to the PATH of the server process so an Azure CLI installed with Homebrew on Apple Silicon is found. Links in form help messages and notes navigated the main window away, because DOMPurify drops the target attribute, prompting the desktop app to quit. Open them in a new window instead, and reword the Google client secret help text. Closes pgadmin-org#9921
…, and update the Google OAuth help link. Re-enabling the button when the device code arrived let a second click start a second server-side attempt, whose success could then be wiped out by the late settlement of the first. Add tests for that, and for the authentication being reset when the tenant id changes.
…tial tests. The dialog moves the focus to its first input 200ms after opening. On a loaded CI runner the test was still typing the tenant id at that point, so the remaining keystrokes went to the authentication type toggle and the field held only part of the value (or nothing, leaving the button disabled).
…s pending. Otherwise the late success of an attempt for the old values would be taken as authentication for the new ones, enabling Next whilst the server's cached credential is still bound to the old tenant.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | 🏗️ Heavy liftInitialize the new attempt before polling.
On a retry,
verify_credentials()removes the previous code from its request-local session and then waits invalidate_azure_credentials().write_session_through()only marks the session for saving at the end of the request. The independently started polling GET can therefore load the previous code and stop before the new code is stored.Use a short initialization step that clears and persists the new attempt before polling starts, or associate each returned code with an attempt identifier. Calling
write_session_through()before the blocking validation is not sufficient because it does not save the session immediately.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

Fixes the Azure and Google problems in #9921 (BigAnimal is no longer in the wizard).
onClickno longer triggered theauth_btndependency that fetched the device code, so the code was never shown, the sign-in window never opened andverify_credentialswaited until it timed out. The click handler now fetches the code itself and updates the form viasetUnpreparedData()so the code note is rendered. Polling stops when authentication finishes, the button is re-enabled after a failure, and the server discards the device code from an earlier attempt.<img>HTML in the progress message (Azure and Google): the wizard footer renders plain text since the XSS hardening, so the messages are now plain text./usr/local/binto the server'sPATH; it now adds/opt/homebrew/bintoo (Homebrew on Apple Silicon).target, so links in help messages and notes navigated the main window away.FormComponentsnow opens them in a new window (rel="noopener noreferrer"), which also fixes the same links in the pgAgent and pgTimetable step dialogs. The Google help text is reworded.Test plan
