- Purpose: keep the moved overview readable as a standalone paragraph - Impact: state the template behavior with complete sentences
Read the final ERROR record before diagnostic truncation so sign-in refusals cannot inherit a temporary warning Keep network failures retryable and name the browser setting in the download failure hint
Refuse invalid outputs and missing keys before generating and opening an unnamed run Keep named-run locking and verified completion replay ahead of attempt checks without deleting lock files
Distinguish the executed preparation checks from the dry-run calls in the same Verify feature
- Purpose: Prove the existing-run answers after successful unnamed preflight - Impact: Fix only the generated ID in a test subprocess; preserve normal call ordering and saved bytes
Require an explicit accepted limit ID tied to every matrix row of its privacy case while retaining independent output and bad-variant checks Keep private text searches strict and reject missing, unrelated, duplicate or placeholder limit bindings
Move the seven acceptance rules unchanged to their own linked page before extending their privacy condition
Require the accepted Limit row and every matrix row to name the same Output case Keep the independent metadata reader and missing-acceptance controls strict The unrelated hotel-network limit now fails even when the matrix names its ID
Keep the ordinary private-text negative control and route accepted retention through the scoped limit contract
- Purpose: Reject an accepted limit whose text contains only bindings, its ID or placeholders - Impact: Name missing Limit text and share the Output grammar while keeping independent artifact checks
- Purpose: keep an unfinished limit from suppressing the private-text check - Impact: reject None or Fill: parts anywhere in the Limit cell, with public regression controls
Keep one isolated Secret Service across scratch steps and stop its daemon and bus during cleanup
Stop the owned session after state or marker loss and after six hours Keep normal auth cleanup and missing-program behavior covered by real private-session tests Install Linux CI prerequisites and put Verify guidance under contributing
- Purpose: distinguish private Linux cleanup from macOS login-keychain removal - Impact: correct comments without changing executable cleanup behavior
Correct the final review's remaining documentation and comment claims. Keep executable behavior unchanged.
Exit before serve loses its local daemon PID. Prove normal stop status and cleanup through the real private helper, keeping abandonment controls.
Force-stop descendants before the existing host deadline so extension defers can remove private staging
Move the complete cleanup section to a linked chapter before correcting its working-directory instructions
Move the complete cancellation section to a linked page before explaining its finite cleanup allowance
Teach handler authors that force-stop and exit overhead consume the reservation Correct the shell-child control comments and the Verify working-directory command Keep the final deadline and all runtime code unchanged
- Purpose: Keep the agent signal contract aligned with the outer cleanup reservation - Impact: Record the mini large-tree cutoff and its separate follow-up while preserving the timeout rule
- Purpose: keep cancellation limits readable after the stack is rebased - Impact: retain the observed mini boundary and link issue #473 for timings and recovery
- Purpose: distinguish host cleanup from the Verify wrapper clock - Impact: state conservative margins and scope the observed macOS limit
Correct the final review's remaining documentation and comment claims. Keep executable behavior unchanged.
Match the contract, SDK and template wording to CleanupReserve.
Choose harness capture and exact-commit receipts, with a live Claude author and Codex root/subagent proof
Show both author and review receipts in the permitted Git log output Distinguish persisted scratch project trust from user-global settings and the per-invocation hook bypass
- Purpose: include V02 in the verification index scope - Impact: keep captured fields intact while removing empty quote indentation
Correct the final review's remaining documentation and comment claims. Keep executable behavior unchanged.

}The full check includes the shared-domain completion control that failed in historical mini27 at c1ded76. Mini30 is the Chef-directed decider after #445's shell fix; mini27's failure remains recorded, not relabeled a pass. This pass permits the separately requested completion-flake follow-up. It does not identify the historical failure's cause. No separate mini probe or weakened control ran. Remote clone cleanup succeeded. The isolated local worktree and owned guarded branch are removed; stopped work folder is trashed. Every evidence copy passed readback. Outside the plan: Pascal assigned #450 during the refinement of Epic 18.
D069 specifies how an extension captures each author and reviewer from harness hooks, binds author receipts to every actual commit and review receipts to a frozen base/head, adopts the rule without invented legacy IDs, and checks it in detached signoff. It selects tested support floors, explicit project trust and a shared SDK recorder, and explains why a native child exposes its parent session and why different recorded sessions do not prove independent reasoning. It answers all eight issue questions. Production enforcement remains the separate #451 follow-up; today's
just finishbehavior is unchanged. The scratch extension lived under the Cook work folder. Claude Code wrote and committed; a fresh Codex root reviewed; its native child reported the parent ID. All three observations below came from hooks, without an agent typing an ID. Only the hook captures and Git log were copied as evidence. Private authentication folders were excluded; their login symlinks were removed by link path after both harnesses stopped, and the original auth files still exist.
Closes #450
Captured session and commit evidence
D069 scratch recording proof
Recorded on 2026-11-03 with Claude Code 2.1.317 and Codex 0.166.0.
The disposable extension and harness state lived under the Cook work folder.
Private authentication folders were excluded from every evidence copy and quote.
Their auth symlinks were removed by link path after the harnesses stopped; both original auth files still exist.
Claude edited the greeting implementation. Its Stop hook ran the real-host check and committed the edit.
The Git hook obtained the author trailer from SessionStart capture, without an agent-supplied ID.
A fresh Codex root reviewed the fixed base/head range, passed the same check and left the source tree unchanged.
Its native child reported the parent ID from the SubagentStart capture.
The child observation equals the reviewer ID; it is not a third distinct session.

Prototype controls
The detached check ran without an active harness or a session context.
The first Codex attempt did not load the project hooks, so its review is excluded from the identity proof.
A private trusted-project configuration and persisted scratch-only session store enabled the successful fresh root and native child.
These prototype controls do not implement the production gate of #451.

just checkCI passed on9b68ad4cf7394aca8ed37d17ef1c8ed44e1129e0: check, check. CodeRabbit was skipped because automatic reviews are disabled. This is not a substantive bot review. Final owner signoff remains pending.First-pair fixes and new-head evidence boundary
Previously recorded layer head:
47143e6fdac1a9736841af48195a2e987b923af8. Earlier CI, owner-status and Verify quotes below describe their explicitly recorded earlier heads. They do not certify this new head. New-head full checks and fresh affected Verify are pending.Correct D069's trust account: the successful proof used a private scratch Codex trusted-project entry plus the per-invocation hook-trust bypass and a persisted scratch-only session store. Initial no-hooks attempts are excluded. Quote the actual Git-log notes receipts for author and reviewer, with no auth/config copy. Git notes versus trailers remains Consider for excluded #451 refinement; no production enforcement is added.

c1ded7683ab43d71420ed886b8384f86f478090a. Earlier progress entries name historical heads. The extra final fix-only passes, new-head required checks and owner statuses remain pending. The stack is not Ready. The final-pair corrections are confined to their owning documentation, template text and comments. Existing proof keeps its recorded tested head; a bounded independent supplement will close Verify22's missing live restoration comparisons and README copy. The new #468 and top dependency intersections and protected-path hits are empty under Chef's receipt-retention rule.

Candidate layer head:
531b3b48b79cff55d7b040092658e6801e68b750. This update preserves historical proof at its named source. Final-head CI and recipe owner statuses remain pending; steps 5 and 8 stay unticked. The final extra reviewers found no critical or warning issue at c1ded76. Their last comment and terminology proposals were applied by the Cook afterward and have no additional barrage review.Final frozen-head validation
Ready for Chef validation at
531b3b48b79cff55d7b040092658e6801e68b750. This section supersedes pending-state statements in the historical progress entries above. All nine heads are frozen, clean and pushed. Every final head has passing CI and a successful recipe-owned signoff status. CodeRabbit auto review is disabled and its check is skipped, not an approval. The recorded barrage reviews are complete.CI at this exact head: passing Check 1, passing Check 2. Owner status:
signoff=success, ID58041103239. Complete owner-recipe evidence and layer log.The complete final-top macOS check passed all 11 checks at this exact top. D069 records the scratch cross-harness experiment and receipts; production session-recording work remains outside this card in #451.
The final-top macOS check passed all 11 checks at 531b3b4. Historical failed runs remain recorded, with Chef dispositions and follow-ups. The last comment and terminology corrections after the exhausted final barrage pair have no additional barrage review. The keyring behavior repair has old-red/new-green regression evidence and independent final-head Verify29. No further source changes followed those checks.
