## Summary The agentic SDLC roadmap previously mixed lean validation, optional assurance, ecosystem delivery and broader architecture work. This change records a bounded delivery sequence, preserves #481/#483 as the lean foundation and defines independently reviewable compatibility, decision-context, workflow-integration and calibration follow-ups. Refs: #490, #491, #492, #493; amendments to #483, #164, #230, #431, #434 and #169. These stories remain open; this PR delivers planning only. Paired core contract stories: nold-ai/specfact-cli#749 and nold-ai/specfact-cli#750. ## Scope and bundle impact - OpenSpec roadmap, proposals, acceptance deltas, planning evidence and task ordering. - Optional decision context, producer identity and shared bounded-loop budgets remain separate from lean reconciliation prerequisites. - Architecture scope consumes approved boundaries and existing analyzers. Evidence export uses in-toto Statement v1/SCAI v0.3 while retaining native report limitations. - Statistical sample gates are explicitly operational; they do not prove a 1% false-block population rate. No bundle source, manifest, registry, command or runtime changes; no version bump or module publication. Implementation tasks remain unchecked. #481 has owner-authorized takeover in a separate clean worktree. ## Validation evidence - Strict OpenSpec validation: all 10 touched changes passed. - Staged Requirements planning-evidence gate: passed, proposal-only. - Existing documentation tests: 20 passed. - Applicable staged pre-commit hooks: passed, including module signature applicability, format, manifest YAML, import boundaries, generated command contracts and documentation accountability. - Code analysis/contract execution: inapplicable to this Markdown/YAML-only surface; explicit scope exception recorded in openspec/AGENTIC_SDLC_VALIDATION.md. Runtime stories retain their required fresh review and TDD gates. - GitHub metadata: six new cross-repository stories have parent/type/labels/assignee/project metadata; required native dependency edges verified in both directions. - Commit signature: GitHub signed and valid; remote tree exactly matched the checked staged index. Local GPG remained unavailable. ## Rollout and review Review the roadmap and formal acceptance deltas before implementation. Planning does not close delivery issues or establish installed-pair acceptance. Revert this planning commit to restore the prior roadmap. CI results remain separate from the local evidence above. - [x] Self-review completed - [x] Backward-compatibility and rollout constraints documented - [x] No runtime completion claimed Paired core planning PR: nold-ai/specfact-cli#751 ## Review triage and corrections — 2026-10-05 Both unresolved findings were independently confirmed and corrected in [signed commit 15e0edb](15e0edb). The original ask-decide-challenge amendment remains intact. | Finding | Severity | Disposition | |---|---|---| | Allow missing requirement associations in imported architecture documents. | Major | Preserve present IDs; report absent associations as missing evidence without rejecting import. | | Submit and review the implementation PR before publication. | Minor | Complete PR review/integration before signed publication and installed-pair handoff. | Strict OpenSpec validation passed for both affected changes; staged planning-evidence and all applicable pre-commit hooks passed; 20 documentation tests passed. The pushed commit signature is valid and its tree exactly matched the checked index. No behavior, RED/GREEN, installed-pair or runtime delivery evidence is claimed. New-head CI/reviewer status remains separate. Paired follow-up: core PR #751's architecture data-model scenario still has the same mandatory-ID wording at inspection time; align it before runtime adoption. This review pass changes only PR #494.
Refs #483. Planning artifacts only; preserve assurance, ownership, signed compatibility and unchecked implementation/trial tasks.
The published Code Review 0.51.0 reviewer rejects valid constructor signatures and callable pytest markers, mishandles some explicit corresponding tests, and repeats unused setup. This prepares 0.51.1 corrections for human merge/promotion, separately from native #498. Changes: - Resolve explicit corresponding tests before basename fallback; preserve ambiguous/missing-test failures. Bound pinned Pylint similarity memoization to one invocation and restore upstream state. - Preserve native errors for non-object pytest JSON before unused planning. Empty Python selections skip unused ownership setup; valid command bytes and nonempty ownership checks remain. - Adapt pinned CrossHair 0.0.109 constructor signatures and unhashable callable registry lookup while retaining inputs, annotations, contracts and upstream precedence. Normalize impossible default prefixes without reordering positional values; preserve valid optional defaults. Restore adapters on every exit. - Generate every declared Literal alternative through symbolic forks, including constructor/union inputs and exact boolean/integer/None/enum identity. Preserve existing models, cached argument proxies and non-Literal generation; scope registration to the verified invocation. - Include the trusted CrossHair adapter in prepared-runtime cache identity. - Run mandatory host proofs unfiltered before forwarding user filters to portable Full/SMART tests. Retain HEAD findings and only BASE tool errors, including empty HEAD results. - Preserve incomplete evidence and reject unsuccessful CrossHair exits without analysis output. Keep diagnostics private and project bounded finite failure classes. Retire temporary sampler transport, arming, private-frame parsing and public sample fields; stale metadata cannot enable sampling. Native errors and timeout UNKNOWN remain. - Isolate upstream icontract checker mutations across both parent-process bootstrap test paths. Preserve the original later project contract assertions. - Capture preparation command failures before projecting finite status; preserve the original failing exit and prevent review after unsuccessful preparation, even when its descriptor appears valid. Validation, checked 2026-10-09 Europe/Berlin: - Preparation fix has failing-first actual shell-flow coverage for exit 0/7 with valid/invalid/missing descriptors, finite private-output projection and no review after failure. - Literal/runtime regressions fail before implementation: 19 failures with 24 parity passes; each actual CLI counterexample covers its declared value, type and identity. Two constructor-prefix regressions fail with Signature ValueError before code and verify actual positional construction plus valid trailing defaults after correction. - Full and SMART each pass 19 mandatory host proofs and 5,174 portable tests, 75 declared skips, 95 subtests and five existing warnings (265.40s/264.54s). Both preserve the original bridge ViolationError assertion after all earlier code-review tests. The genuine upstream test-state leak was reproduced in a separate ordered subprocess and fixed by scoped fixture restoration, not a weaker assertion. - All normal commit hooks pass. Type checks have zero errors/warnings, lint is 10.00/10, all 28 contracts and manifest/import/CLI checks pass. Strict OpenSpec/planned requirements, changed-code AST/AI-bloat/Radon, pinned Semgrep and actionlint pass. The final committed CPython 3.12 controls pass all 58 cases (3.94s), including the shared-fixture test-order regression; constructor/Literal/dispatch/bridge controls pass 82 cases locally. - Five validated annotations are fixed and resolved after push, including **Preserve valid ordering among positional parameters**. The later **Exclude the host proof from the portable pytest pass** annotation is invalid: recursive discovery is restricted to `test_*.py`; actual collection confirms 19 explicit host proofs and no host proof module among 5,249 portable collected items. No selection change is required. The dispatch-mocking finding remains independently invalid because the final shared runpy dispatch is intercepted with original assertions retained. - Public CodeRabbit a5b3771..3718637 completed with zero findings across 21 files; preparation 3718637..3182751 completed with zero findings across seven files. Fresh public CodeRabbit 0.9.0 review 3182751..b31dd88 completed with zero findings across 20 files (review_completed). - Runtime fixes are pushed as b31dd88. The draft stale signature was removed under the approved policy. Existing CI then independently added signature-only child 8841120; inspection confirms one manifest line and all seven strict signatures/checksums/version checks pass. No local private key is accessed. Approved signed-head attempt 2 is running. Signed-head Docs, requirements, CodeQL, signatures and all three minimum-core schema checks pass; ordinary candidate/installed and macOS boundary jobs remain pending completion. Hosted triage: - Prior signed-head run 37849313316 passes CP311/CP313 customer corpora, including Requests' pytest-marker regression, signatures and all minimum-core schema jobs. - Signed head 3718637 and preparation head 3182751 CP312 jobs report a CrossHair process error with a finite TypeError observation. A public-source 23-file CPython 3.12 control with lock-listed distributions reproduces Literal falling through to get_type_hints as a class. After the correction, that same batch reaches its unchanged 30-second deadline without the reproduced crash. This fixes a concrete defect; identical hosted-cause attribution and sealed acceptance require the new run, and the local timeout is not PASS. - The candidate precommit invocation analyzes one staged index snapshot through positional explicit_files. BASE binds changed-line comparison; it does not execute a separate BASE analyzer snapshot on this route. Candidate analyzer states are direct fields. Optional nested BASE/HEAD projection applies only if such data is present; earlier aggregate-side attribution was incorrect. - The independent installed reviewer still uses authenticated marketplace 0.51.0. Its known timeout is a user-approved exception because candidate fixes cannot reach it before human promotion. The latest user approval also covers the ordinary candidate reviewer timeout. This exception is not applied to process crashes, defects or test failures, and no timeout is represented as PASS or complete assurance. - The separate Rosetta HOME-cache report lacks an exact capsule/command. These hosted Linux jobs use native ubuntu-24.04 x64; no no-write proof is relaxed. Temporary sampling is removed. Obtain ordinary candidate execution evidence and triage any remaining real crash; known timeouts retain the approved exception. Preserve contracts, flags, deadlines, coverage, isolation and failure semantics. Local Darwin capsule review remains explicitly DEFERRED to Linux review. The maintainer merged current dev documentation and marked this PR ready; those choices are preserved. Verified signature-only CI child 3718637 precedes preparation 3182751 and current runtime b31dd88. The user approved draft checksum refresh and CI signing in a follow-up PR after merge to dev; local private signing keys are not accessed. Human reviewer merge/promotion is required before #498 can rebase/bump to 0.51.2 and obtain ordinary installed/native acceptance. Keep #460 and OpenSpec active; no automatic merge, publication or archive. First-run Apple trust warnings are accepted; Developer ID/notarization #488 remains separate. Refs #460; parent #163. Signed-head run 37862310996 (attempt 2), checked 2026-10-09 Europe/Berlin: CP312 job 113601873468 prepares both descriptors successfully, then reports `crosshair_timeout_observed` with an empty exception-observation list; the prior TypeError process class is not observed. Its bounded full-report availability diagnostic does not turn incomplete evidence into PASS. Independent installed 0.51.0 job 113601873392 again ends in TimeoutExpired. Both reviewer timeouts are user-approved exceptions; crashes, defects and test failures remain in scope. CP311/CP313 external corpora and current macOS boundaries are still running. Docs, requirements, CodeQL, signatures and all three minimum-core schemas pass.

The independent job independently rejects the same valid NOT_APPLICABLE result from resolve_scope. For registry-only or workflow-only capsule PRs, resolution.reason is no_governed_impact; this condition writes an incomplete status and raises, so fixing the earlier candidate-preparation check alone would still leave the required reusable workflow failing. Short-circuit runtime preparation for this status and let the subsequent review command report its normal accepted not-applicable result.

Inspected branch-only ref refs/heads/dev at 5db1f21.
- Core is version
0.55.4; module installation validatescore_compatibility, and runtime registration skips incompatible modules. The PR’s unchanged>=0.55.1,<1.0.0range therefore covers this core version.[::nold-ai/specfact-cli::] - Marketplace releases resolve the registry from
specfact-cli-modules/{branch}/registry/index.json; main/release refs use themainregistry. The promoted module registry entry must therefore be present and internally consistent on the modules repository’smainref.[::nold-ai/specfact-cli::] - Core’s bundled registry contains only built-in modules and does not hard-code a Code Review version, so promotion relies on the remote modules registry entry rather than a core update.
[::nold-ai/specfact-cli::] - Core CI locks
crosshair-tool==0.0.109, matching the promoted module’s pinned CrossHair compatibility target; no core dependency bump is indicated by the inspected files.[::nold-ai/specfact-cli::] - Core-generated command contracts identify
nold-ai/specfact-code-reviewas the owner of the existingcode reviewcommand families, with no observed command/API rename required by this release.[::nold-ai/specfact-cli::]

All previously reported #502 inline review threads are resolved as of 2026-10-09 (Europe/Berlin). Independently verified against actual release head
#503 source evidence: genuine RED 11 failures/103 passing controls; final focused 170 pass; Full/SMART each 27 host proofs and 5,181 portable tests, 75 skips/95 subtests. The later pass-count fix had a controlled successful 14-case child reproduce the old false failure and then passed all 66 original affected checks plus normal hooks. These unchanged gates were not rerun. Exact #503 head GitHub CodeRabbit review completed without actionable comments across 13 files (some CI context skipped for timeout); the failed CLI connection run remains failed and was not retried. Normal dev publication #504 is merged and now provides version 0.51.2. Registry index, archive and sidecar match SHA-256 CI is not claimed green. New release-head checks/reviews are pending. Historical #503 CP311/CP312/CP313 candidates passed, but independent job 113712246323 returned an unclassified structured FAIL with findings and Pylint UNKNOWN; its three quality jobs stopped at prerequisites before tools/tests. Individual private findings were not retained. That historical failure remains unwaived and is not assumed to be a timeout. Previously classified #502 timeout failures retain only the explicit incomplete-evidence exception. Monitor remains paused for the recorded diagnostic dependency; no automatic merge/publication, paid-review retry or changes to #498 were performed. New annotations during post-merge verificationTwo newly generated CodeQL cache-fixture claims were independently validated against the unchanged source:
Preserve ambiguity for same-stem source files is a validated P2, explicitly deferred by the owner to the open #498 follow-up annotation ( Owner-approved transfer — 2026-10-09 (Europe/Berlin)The owner explicitly approved delivering #502 with this P2 deferred and asked to transfer it to #498 as an open annotation, then resolve it here. The replacement #498 inline annotation is verified OPEN and carries the reproduction, spec-first regression/acceptance checklist, full project test-suite mitigation, and the requirement to fix before final installed/native acceptance. #502 resolution records this approved transfer, not remediation. The separate unclassified independent-review failure remains unwaived; no source, tests, signatures or assurance rules changed. |
# Summary Registry-only or workflow-only capsule PRs can legitimately resolve to `NOT_APPLICABLE/no_governed_impact`. Both hosted preparation paths currently reject that outcome before normal review. Accept the exact successful no-impact outcome without acquiring runtimes, then invoke the existing reviewer and preserve its exit. This is the owner-requested upstream patch for release PR #502, on `bugfix/release-502-autofix` targeting `dev`. Code Review advances **0.51.1 → 0.51.2** before release promotion; no changes are committed directly to `dev` or `main`. Refs #502, #460. Reuses active OpenSpec `code-review-portable-reviewer-bootstrap`. ## Changes - **Accept legitimate no-impact preparation results**: candidate JSON must have exact index scope, no-governed-impact diagnostic and empty-object runtimes; a failed preparation command still stops review with its original exit. - **Allow not-applicable scope in the independent reviewer**: require the exact no-impact reason, empty selected paths and zero scope exit; skip only runtime construction and retain resolution cleanup, trusted preload, the ordinary authenticated review and its 0/2/7 exits. - Keep malformed/nonempty/unknown no-impact claims blocking and public diagnostics finite. Contracts, deadlines, namespace isolation and no-write proofs are unchanged. - Address **An assert statement has a side-effect** by separating mutation from assertion; give the deliberate failing-hash fixture explicit identity equality. - Clarify exceptional cache teardown with an outer exception assertion and inner cache context, retaining pre-entry and bound-handle assertions. The reported unused/unreachable postconditions are actually executed; normal RuntimeError/SystemExit parity tests remain. - **Non-standard exception raised in special method** is intentionally not applied: replacing the custom hash failure with `__hash__ = None` removes the negative regression for preserving custom errors. Production adapters already distinguish standard unhashable types from real custom hash failures. ## Validation Checked 2026-10-09, Europe/Berlin: - Spec precedes tests; original workflow has **11 failures and 103 passing controls**. Final actual shell/isolated-controller/runtime fixture tests: **170 passed in 12.50s**. - Full and SMART each pass **27 mandatory host proofs + 5,181 portable tests**, 75 declared skips and 95 subtests (292.00s/291.38s; five existing warnings). - Final typing: zero errors/warnings. Lint: 10.00/10. All 28 contracts and normal commit hooks pass. Format, manifest/import/CLI contracts, actionlint, strict OpenSpec and actual staged planned requirements pass. - Changed AST/AI-bloat/Radon and pinned Semgrep: zero findings/errors. Existing negative and failure-exit assertions are preserved. - All seven checksum/version checks pass on the draft payload. `0.51.2` checksum is `d4bcfd8db105c60440b3bdefbe414f1dc148a75c21b8533801d43d888b3d0df4`; stale `0.51.1` signature is removed. Existing CI added signature-only child `4feca6048e26c7f8de64c29948066d15683797d4`; inspection confirms a single manifest signature line, and all seven strict signature/checksum/version checks pass. No local private key is accessed. - Fresh CodeRabbit 0.9.0 review of committed source `7d9b8f54` completed (`review_completed`) with zero findings across all 13 files. Its signature-only CI child does not change reviewed source. Signed-head CI has been approved and remains pending completion. - Local Darwin capsule review is explicitly DEFERRED under existing owner approval. #502's current candidate and installed-reviewer failures are the user-approved timeouts, not PASS; no observed exception class accompanies the candidate timeout. Real defects/tests remain blocking. ## Integration After human merge to `dev`, normal signing/registry publication must produce the signed `0.51.2` artifact. Refresh #502's release version/body against its actual updated head and resolve its fixed threads only then. The separate native #498 must use the next available patch version when rebased; it is not included here. No merge, main publication or OpenSpec archive is performed automatically. ## New review correction CodeRabbit Minor **Remove the exact pass-count assertion.** is corrected in pushed source head `2da6cbddd8103e7f4f2b61484e541a8a179baa43`. A controlled additional constructor case makes the actual child pass 14 cases while the original outer proof fails only on its `13 passed` string. Removing that one summary assertion makes the expanded proof pass; restoring the temporary case leaves a one-line final source change, with all 66 original dispatch/constructor/bridge checks and normal hooks passing. Explicit selections, contract assertions, failure exits and the 30-second bound remain unchanged. Signed module bytes are unchanged, so the prepared `0.51.2` version/signature remains valid. The fresh five-file CLI review was interrupted by `connection / WebSocket closed` and exited 1 without a completed review. It is not PASS, and it is not retried after work started. Earlier completed zero-finding reviews remain historical evidence; the new source's GitHub review and CI are pending. The release thread stays open until this upstream correction reaches #502.

Summary
Promote the current
devbranch tomain, releasingnold-ai/specfact-code-review0.51.2. Portable reviews now resolve explicit corresponding tests before fallback, avoid unused pytest setup, and handle pinned CrossHair constructor signatures, callable pytest markers and Literal inputs without the reproduced runtime crashes. Pylint similarity caching is bounded to one invocation. The release also carries the merged agentic SDLC roadmap, risk-first workflow guidance and public OpenSpec design/evidence updates. It preserves incomplete-analysis semantics, contracts, deadlines, isolation and no-write requirements.

bb57584c6d6ea7154f275a470a85d0c68909812c, including merged source #503 and normal dev registry publication #504.Required local gates
The reviewed source in #503 passed format, type/lint, 28 contracts, normal hooks, clean-code/Semgrep, workflow/manifests/imports, planned requirements and strict OpenSpec validation. Full and SMART each passed 27 mandatory host proofs and 5,181 portable tests, with 75 declared skips and 95 subtests. The final test-only correction passed all 66 affected dispatch/constructor/bridge checks and normal hooks. Its affected source and tests, and the complete
packages/tree, are byte-for-byte unchanged on this release head, so these gates were not repeated. The exact #503 head
2da6cbddreceived an automatic GitHub CodeRabbit review with no actionable comments across 13 files; some CI context was skipped for timeout. Its latest CLI review failed with a WebSocket connection error and is not clean evidence. The release head's fresh CI and reviews must be assessed separately.Signature + version integrity

The signed fix(code-review): accept no-impact capsule preparation (0.51.2) #503 source's entirepackages/tree matches the current release head; the new head's module signature CI also passes.0.51.2; its signed payload checksum isd4bcfd8db105c60440b3bdefbe414f1dc148a75c21b8533801d43d888b3d0df4.dca4ffc795c54835d437f005c50613b5b42cb401d6937261b4508a92c5fd67b7; the packaged signed manifest matchesdev.CI and Branch Protection
Fresh release-head checks and reviews are pending. Preserve the existing required checks and evaluate actual defect/test failures normally. Previously reported inline review threads are resolved after independently verifying their fixes or invalid-finding dispositions. The independently reproduced P2 same-stem correspondence finding is explicitly deferred by the owner to the open #498 annotation; the #502 thread is resolved as transferred, not fixed. This does not claim green CI.
The user approved the known reviewer timeout failures as explicit exceptions pending promotion. On signed source head
88411209, ordinary CP312 job successfully prepared both runtime descriptors and reportedcrosshair_timeout_observedwith no exception class observed. The independent installed0.51.0reviewer again timed out. These remain incomplete evidence, never PASS; the exception does not waive crashes, defects or test failures. No deadline, contract selection or assurance rule is weakened.Docs / Pages

Patch PR #503 merged to
dev, followed by normal registry publication #504. Both are now included in this release head. The patch fixes both valid no-impact preparation rejections, separates mutation from an assertion, adds identity equality to the deliberate hash-failure fixture, and removes the brittle exact child pass-count assertion. Normal review, cleanup, failure exits, contracts, selections, deadlines and negative-test behavior remain intact. All previously reported fixed review threads are resolved. The same-stem test-selection fix is not included in #503. The owner approved deferral to the open #498 follow-up, with full project test-suite runs for release acceptance during deferral and correction required before #498 final installed/native acceptance.Historical #503 CI passed all three CP311/CP312/CP313 customer candidates. Its independent installed 0.51.0 reviewer returned an unclassified structured FAIL with findings and Pylint UNKNOWN, and quality jobs stopped at prerequisites before tools/tests. Individual private findings were not retained. That failure remains unwaived and is not established as a timeout; fresh release CI must be assessed on its own evidence. Known, independently classified timeout failures retain only the user-approved incomplete-evidence exception.
Native #498 remains separate and must select the next available patch version when rebased.
