What's Changed

  • don't create a copy of the basedpyright-langserver executable in the vscode extension unless running on windows by @DetachHead in DetachHead#1810
    • this was a hacky way to try to avoid issues updating basedpyright while the language server is running, but this was never actually a problem on linux & macOS because executables can be deleted while running
  • fix empty semantic tokens response interfering with other language servers when basedpyright.disableLanguageServices is set by @DetachHead in DetachHead#1815
  • avoid duplicated capability registrations by @DetachHead in DetachHead#1816

v1.39.6: (pyright 1.1.410)
