Closes #54.

The README listed the supported languages but did not say which LSP requests multilspy exposes or which of them have been confirmed for each language server.

This PR adds two things to the README:

  • A Supported LSP Features table. It maps the six public request APIs (definition, references, completion, documentSymbol, hover, workspace/symbol) to their multilspy method names, with links to the LSP 3.17 spec. Each method is available on both LanguageServer and SyncLanguageServer.
  • A per-language capability matrix. A ✅ means the feature is confirmed. A ? means it is not confirmed in this repository, which does not mean the server lacks the feature.

It also adds the missing elixir row to the supported languages table.

A feature counts as confirmed if at least one of these holds:

  • The server wrapper asserts the matching server capability on initialization.
  • The server's capabilities were checked directly (jedi-language-server).
  • A test under tests/multilspy/ exercises the request for that language.

For reviewers: please look over the matrix cells, especially the ? entries. They are deliberately conservative, so any you can confirm from your own knowledge of the servers can be upgraded. The README is the only file changed, with no code changes.

Testing

Documentation-only change (README.md).

Existing suites:

  • PATH="$PWD/.venv/bin:$PATH" timeout 800 .venv/bin/pytest tests/multilspy/test_multilspy_python.py -q --tb=short: passed

Document the six LSP requests multilspy exposes and add a per-language
matrix of confirmed capabilities, with the criteria for confirmation.
Also add the missing Elixir row to the supported languages table.
