Venus, the LangX cat, gets a page of her own and a chapter on the homepage.

/venus

  • Who she is: wants, needs, flaw, tell, comeback. Funny, lovable, the joke is always on her.
  • How she talks: five sample lines and her running jokes (the bag, the verdict, the fridge, the red dot…).
  • Her faces: twelve faces cut from the 2D rig's expression sheet.
  • Cat habits and food: slow blink, biscuits, zoomies, the box…; hamsi is her favourite fish and plain boiled chicken her top reward.
  • She speaks your language: four short clips (English, Türkçe, Español, العربية) with posters, preload="none" and caption tracks. The daily streak videos are labelled coming soon: they are built but off in the app (venusStories).
  • Use Venus everywhere: in the LangX app, Telegram (venus_langx, the 60-sticker set), GIPHY for Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and the iMessage app (collection), and a PNG download for Discord and Slack. WhatsApp is coming soon: packs can only be added from an app, and the app's export (Add to WhatsApp for the Venus sticker pack, behind flags.whatsappStickers (off) — native build langx#2034) is not merged yet. Signal is left out until someone uploads the pack from Signal Desktop.
  • The 60-sticker grid reads src/lib/data/venus-stickers.ts, so a new pack means swapping the files, the zip and that list.

The page ships no JS (csr = dev), like /download. It is in the build-output test's no-JS list (nothing starts hidden) and its one-yellow list. It is a lilac page, with an OG card of Venus waving (node scripts/og/render.mjs venus, which now takes a card name) and a WebPage JSON-LD.

Homepage

A Venus chapter after Streaks, with Venus in place of the phone. It links to /venus, Telegram and GIPHY. The footer links to the page too ("Meet Venus").

Media

Only what the page uses, all from the vector rig, no photos: about 0.7 MB of 192px sticker WebPs, 12 faces (~96 KB), four 432×768 clips (1.85 MB, loaded only on play) and the 6.3 MB PNG zip, which downloads only when clicked.

Checked

  • npm run build, svelte-check and vitest run (44 tests) pass.
  • /venus prerenders with one canonical and is in the sitemap; the built HTML loads CSS only, no JS.
  • Screenshots at 1440 and 375, light and dark, with JS off for /venus: no horizontal overflow.

Venus is the LangX cat. /venus is the public side of the character:
who she is, how she talks, her faces, her cat habits and food (hamsi
and boiled chicken), four short clips in English, Turkish, Spanish and
Arabic, and the sticker pack with every place it works today: in the
app, Telegram, GIPHY (Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, iMessage) and a
PNG download for Discord and Slack. WhatsApp is marked coming soon; the
daily streak videos are coming soon too, since they are off in the app.

The page ships no JS (csr = dev) and is in the build-output test's
no-JS and one-yellow lists. All art is the 2D vector rig; the sticker
grid reads src/lib/data/venus-stickers.ts so a new pack is a swap.
scripts/og/render.mjs now takes a card name for the Venus OG image.

The Telegram button and the homepage chapter now offer the new set,
t.me/addstickers/venus_langx, and GIPHY links to the ordered Venus
collection. The homepage chapter links both.

The list of her eight languages was glued into one word by the each
block, and on a phone that 526px word widened the whole page; the
lede on the colour blocks was the muted grey instead of ink.
