The app calls the daily pool "fondo" in Spanish, "pot commun" in French and "fundo" in Brazilian Portuguese: on the token page, the pool screen, the wallet, the notifications and the evening email (langx/langx#2086). This site still said "bote", "cagnotte" and "bolo", the words for a lottery's prize pot, so someone reading both met two names for the same thing. Raised in the review of langx/langx#2086.

What changed

The pool section and the "How much can I earn in a day?" answer (visible text and its FAQ JSON-LD, kept word for word) on three pages:

Page Before After

In French the noun changes gender, so the article, the participle and the pronoun of the payout sentence change with it. In Spanish and Portuguese the new word has the same gender as the old one, so the pronouns that point back to it (en él, dele, Ele cai) were already right. No other text, figure or markup changed.

Checked

  • node tools/check-token-rules.mjs against langx/langx main: all 8 pages agree (60 rules each), and the FAQ JSON-LD still matches the visible FAQ.
  • The pool sections of es/, fr/ and pt-br/ were photographed before and after, at 375 px and 1280 px wide. The section is the same height and nothing overflows.

Not changed, but worth knowing

Outside the pool word, the site and the app still name the token differently in three languages:

  • es, pt-BR: the site says "tokens" throughout. The app's token page, wallet and store say "fichas", but its hourly gift and invite screens say "tokens".
  • ru: the site says "токены". The app's token page and wallet say "жетоны", but its hourly gift says "токенов".

fr (jetons), tr (jeton), de (Token) and ar (رمز / رموز) match the app's token page. The pool word matches the app in all eight languages after this PR. Which token word to settle on needs a decision, so this PR leaves it alone.

Part of the plan in langx/langx#2067.

The app now calls the daily pool "fondo" in Spanish, "pot commun" in
French and "fundo" in Brazilian Portuguese, on the pool screen, the
wallet and the token page alike. The site still said "bote",
"cagnotte" and "bolo", so a reader moving between the two met two
names for one thing.

French changes gender with the word: le pot commun ... partagé, and
the pronoun of the payout sentence follows it (Il tombe). The FAQ's
JSON-LD carries the same wording as the visible answer.
