Summary

Prepare the code site to move from GitHub Pages to Cloudflare Pages.

  • Remove the GitHub Pages deployment workflow. Cloudflare Pages now connects to this repository and handles production and preview deployments.
  • Remove the GitHub Pages CNAME file.
  • Keep the existing build workflow for pull request checks.
  • Keep the weekly and manual IndexNow sitemap reconciliation workflow.

The Cloudflare Pages project is code-textmode-art. It uses npm run build, publishes .vitepress/dist, runs on Node.js 24, deploys main to production, and creates previews for all branches with PR comments enabled. The project is connected to the repository.

Rollout

The production domain is not attached to Cloudflare Pages yet, and its DNS record has not changed. After this PR is merged, verify the Pages production deployment and preview, then attach code.textmode.art to the project and update its DNS CNAME from GitHub Pages to the Cloudflare Pages target.

This change removes the immediate IndexNow submission that ran after each GitHub Pages deploy. The scheduled weekly and manual full-sitemap submission remains available in .github/workflows/indexnow-reconciliation.yml.
