This documents the live re-proof released in gethinode/mod-blocks v2.13.1 (gethinode/mod-blocks#271).

It applies to a preview with ready_message and theme_message that was already ready. When that frame navigates, or the outer theme changes, the view now re-proves in place:

  • The frame stays shown and not inert.
  • The poster stays hidden.
  • The pane is busy.
  • A window's title bar keeps "Live", with no new announcement.

The first wait of an activation, and a wait after a failure, still show the poster. The deadline still fails a re-proof, and a late acknowledgement still recovers. Earlier releases are described as showing the poster again.

Changes: content/blocks/preview.md, lines around 402, 404, 429, 433 and 478, including qualifiers on the first-reveal and one-time-check sentences.

Validation:

  • pnpm lint and pnpm build pass.
  • An independent blind review checked every sentence against the released producer code, and it passed, as did both of its wording confirmation rounds.
  • The reviewer's own claim mutations were caught by the producer browser suite.
  • The v2.13.1 tag exists and resolves to the merge commit db383e03.
