Summary

  • Pricing: a new row and a "Simulation tests" section. Each Simulation run that ends in Pass or Fail is charged $0.003 per agent reply plus the LLM tokens of the agent, the simulated user and the judge. Runs that end in Error are not charged, and every repeat is a run of its own. The basic models are billed on their tokens in Simulation tests, with their rates in a table. The trial balance, billing and examples sections now include Simulation runs.
  • Agent tests: a new Billing section covers what is charged and how runs draw on the trial balance and API credit. It also covers the run's usage.cost_usd (what the run was charged), usage.platform_fee and usage.llm (one entry per participant and model, by token category), and the 402 when no balance is left. The Simulation row of the verdict card table now mentions what the run was charged.

Merge after Simulation test billing is live.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Updated Simulation test pricing: successful Pass or Fail runs cost $0.003 per agent reply, plus token charges for the agent, simulated user, and judge. Agent tokens on custom LLM endpoints are free; Error runs, Single Turn tests, and Tool tests are free.
    • Clarified that repeats are billed separately, Simulation runs are charged when they finish, and tests can start when the trial balance or API credit is above zero.
    • Added model token rates, a six-reply pricing example, billing order and itemization details, API usage fields and pending values, and outcomes when funds are unavailable. Simulation results now show the run charge and whether trial balance paid it.

Customers with a trial balance could misunderstand which balance pays for a Simulation run. Clarify the Billing sentence; this is a bounded documentation risk.

Single Turn and Tool tests are free. Each Simulation run that ends in **Pass** or **Fail** is charged a platform fee of $0.003 per agent reply, plus the LLM tokens of the agent, the simulated user, and the judge. Runs that end in **Error** are not charged, and every repeat is a run of its own. The basic models are billed on their tokens in Simulation tests, see [Pricing](/agents/pricing#simulation-tests) for the rates.

Runs draw on the trial balance first, then your API credit, and each one is listed on the [Agents billing page](https://fish.audio/app/agents/billing). Over the API, a run's `usage.cost_usd` is what it was charged, `0` for a run that is not charged, and two fields show what it adds up to: `usage.platform_fee` gives the rate per reply and the fee, and `usage.llm` has one entry per participant and model with its amount and the tokens and cost of each token category (input, cached input, cache writes, output). The charge is usually settled as soon as the run ends, and until then `usage.cost_usd` and `usage.platform_fee` are `null` and `usage.llm` is empty. Running a Simulation test needs the trial balance or your API credit above zero: otherwise the Builder and [Run Tests](/api-reference/endpoint/agent/run-tests) refuse it with a 402, and a queued run that finds the balance used up ends in **Error** without being charged.

Align the Billing section with the published response schema.

PublicAgentTestRunUsage defines only agent_replies and cost_usd. It describes cost_usd as the LLM cost, nullable while any part is unpriced. It does not define usage.platform_fee or usage.llm. The current text therefore directs consumers to fields outside the public contract and gives cost_usd a different meaning.

Either update the API schema and response implementation together, or revise this page to match the current schema.

A run that ends in Pass or Fail is charged a platform fee per agent reply
plus the agent's, the simulated user's and the judge's tokens. The basic
models bill on their tokens here. The result card shows the total and the
billing page itemizes it.

## Billing

Usage is charged to your **API credit**, the same prepaid balance as the Fish Audio speech APIs. Sessions are charged when they end, and number rental is charged daily.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

State the trial-balance draw order in the Billing section.

Line 97 says Simulation test charges draw on the trial balance first. Line 104 instead says usage is charged to API credit. Readers with a trial balance can therefore get conflicting guidance about which balance pays for a run. State that charges draw on the trial balance first, then API credit.
