This is me trying to work out how to avoid rate limits and I recall vcrpy from my earlier days from others trying to mock the sunpy network tests using this.
This does present other issues. We will need to run the actual unit tests against the API in a cron so we can catch upstream issues and then regenerate the files. That also means checking these large files into the repo too. gitattributes can at least hide them in a PR but it will bloat the repo.
Thoughts?
