…(arXiv:2509.18324, arXiv:1012.0859) Includes the list_color include and the 3d_surface citation correction that go with it. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
…t-defect codes under topological Twist-defect surface and color codes become secondary children of topological. Their topological_abelian cousin sentences move into the new parent details, with citations. Twist defects behave as non-Abelian (Ising-like) objects, so the parent is topological, not topological_abelian. The defect-free XZZX surface and XYZ color codes become secondary children of topological_abelian. Primary parents are unchanged. list_topological gains 17 codes: the twist-defect families and their descendants, plus xzzx, twisted_xzzx and its four small children, and xyz_color. …ivalent to CSS codes XZZX: the Hadamard map to the rotated surface code needs a checkerboard sublattice; twisted XZZX toric codes such as the five-qubit code have no CSS counterpart. XYZ color: cite the on-site Clifford definition. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
…d topological_abelian Every instance of the XYZ and domain wall color codes is defined as a single-qubit Clifford image of a CSS 6.6.6 color code (arXiv:2203.16534 Sec. 2.1, arXiv:2307.00054), so the code sits under triangular_color. The old parents are now implied through it. The entry moves to the triangular_color folder. It joins the qubit CSS list and leaves the non-CSS qubit stabilizer list, as xysurface already does. New 3d_xyz_color: 3D XYZ color code (Kim's 3D plaquette model; chiral color code qubit case), moved here from PR #398, with its list_color include and the 3d_surface citation correction
Edited twist_defect_surface: now a child of topological (Z2 order with twist defects); topological_abelian cousin folded into the parent detail
Edited twist_defect_color: now a child of topological (Z2×Z2 order with twist defects); topological_abelian cousin folded into the parent detail
Edited xzzx: new topological_abelian parent (bulk Hadamard-equivalent to the surface code)
Edited xyz_color: now a child of triangular_color, since every XYZ and domain wall color code is a single-qubit Clifford image of a CSS 6.6.6 color code (2203.16534 Sec. 2.1, 2307.00054). Its twist_defect_color and topological_abelian parents are implied and removed, and the file moves to the triangular_color folder. It moves from the non-CSS qubit stabilizer list to the qubit CSS list, as xysurface already does.
Edited xzzx: the rotated_surface and surface cousins now say the Hadamard map needs a checkerboard sublattice, and that twisted XZZX toric codes such as the five-qubit code need not be CSS-equivalent
list_topological grows from 82 to 99 (the twist-defect families and the XZZX/XYZ codes)
