Result

Measured the existing PSPRecomp AUTO pipeline and compared typed aligned-memory emission in C++ and Rust. All variants removed the same text scan and produced identical output. The experiment did not establish an advantage for Rust over typed C++; the production generator stays in C++. This PR records the experiment.

Verification

  • Three Windows runs per variant with fresh output directories. All 240 output files match the unmodified generator by filename and SHA-256.
  • Baseline median: 37.26 s wall, including 2.31 s in aligned-memory lowering and 28.41 s in VFPU lowering. Full results, including working sets and the I/O timing caveat, are in docs/VERIFICATION.md.
  • ctest --test-dir build -j6 --output-on-failure: 27/27 on the existing Windows Release build. Git diff, precommit and parent checks passed.

Closes #34

Measure PSPRecomp AUTO by stage and compare direct C++ and Rust aligned-memory emission on ULUS-10512.

Verified: 240 output hashes matched, Windows Release CTest 27/27, and the benchmark did not establish an advantage for Rust.
