👋 dtrudg

Hello, I'm David (or Dave) Trudgian. I'm a software engineer with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, and 15+ years experience across academia and industry in both the UK and USA. My career has spanned machine learning, bioinformatics, high performance computing, container runtimes, and more. I enjoy developing pragmatic solutions to difficult problems and working with a diverse range of collaborators and customers, especially in scientific and technical fields. I previously worked for Sylabs and was lead maintainer of the SingularityCE open source container runtime.

I use this GitHub profile for any interaction with projects hosted on GitHub. My personal git repositories are elsewhere.
