Git code is spread across top-level git_* modules, and several modules split their implementation from folders containing only tests. Group related implementation and tests so each module is easier to navigate.

  • Move Git modules under git/{cache,gateway,http,input,objects,read,native}.
  • Rename repository_http to api, reflecting its account, repository, and transport handlers.
  • Move native_resources, object-storage artifact, and 13 similar module roots into their existing folders as mod.rs.
  • Update imports, source-digest includes, documentation, architecture references, and tracing filters.

Public Rust imports move from canopy_server::{git_gateway,git_http,git_input} to canopy_server::git::{gateway,http,input}.

Validation

  • cargo fmt --all -- --check
  • cargo clippy --workspace --all-targets --locked -- -D warnings
  • python3 scripts/check_cellule.py
  • python3 -B -m unittest discover -s scripts -p 'test_*.py' — 105 passed
  • Verified all literal source includes resolve and no tests-only sibling module folders remain.

The complete Rust workspace suite passed before rebasing onto the latest main (9 qualification tests ignored). Full Rust tests and RustFS provider/process qualification on the rebased head will run in CI.

BREAKING CHANGE: import Git gateway, HTTP, and input modules through
canopy_server::git::{gateway, http, input}.
