Maybe a year of activity minimum and a dozen posts?

There's not a lot of content, but the content seems pretty good and very current to me. I think it might be worth adding regardless.

Forgive me for asking the silly question, but is there a particular onus to add this in the initial run of blogs for the site? This was three posts in March and no activity before or since. Insightful though it may be can we not just maintain the option to add it later if the author comes back with more activity or someone requests it or some such?

Yes of course. The "initial content" is just a dump of my bookmarks anyway - we can delay these content addition PRs however long we want.
