Asociación para la Promoción de la Robótica y el Estudio del Cosmos (cosmoBots.eu) is a non-profit association based in the Canary Islands, Spain. Among other activities, we develop and maintain tools that help engineering teams manage complex projects without depending on expensive proprietary licences.

Free and open source software for systems engineering and requirements management, built on top of Redmine.

Base plugin for Redmine. It turns Redmine into a workspace where tasks, requirements, documents and their relations form a live model of the project, with navigable trees, live diagrams, DSM analysis and engineering-grade reports.

Requirements-domain extension for cosmoSys. It adds requirements engineering capabilities: capture, structure, trace and document requirements alongside the rest of the project data.

Both projects are in early alpha. They are suitable for controlled evaluation and are not yet declared production-ready.

Requirements management tools are necessary for serious engineering, but their cost often puts them out of reach for modest organisations — public research institutes, small engineering firms, university groups. cosmoSys exists to close that gap: free, open source, no per-seat limits, no subscription that can interrupt the work.

The code is licensed under GPLv3. Forks and mirrors are welcome under the terms of the licence.
