Adds a preset-controlled option to let users choose the KubeStash BackupStorage when creating a database. When the preset toggle is off (default), behaviour is unchanged.

Preset (chartsxhelmdev-clusterchartpreset-editor-options)

  • New spec.admin.backup.backupStorage.toggle and spec.admin.archiver.backupStorage.toggle (BackupStorageProfile in admin.go).

Backup (16 kubedbcom-*-editor-options charts with a BackupConfiguration template)

  • "Backup Storage" select under "Enable Backup?", shown when backup is on, the toggle is on and by != BackupBlueprint.
  • Writes spec.backup.kubestash.storageRef; templates unchanged.
  • Lists only BackupStorages whose usagePolicy allows the DB namespace (mirrors KubeStash BackupStorage.UsageAllowed).

Archiver (MariaDB, MongoDB, MSSQLServer, MySQL, Postgres)

  • "Archiver Backup Storage" select; on change, the default kubedb/<archiverName> Archiver spec is fetched into spec.archiver.spec.
  • New templates/archiver.yaml renders <release>-archiver in the release namespace, cloned from the default with the selected backupStorage.ref and databases.namespaces.from: Same. The DB refs it only when the selected storage differs from the default's; otherwise it keeps referencing kubedb/<archiverName>.
  • New optional ArchiverOverride field (spec.archiver) in the 5 editor-options types.
