👋 Hi, I’m Apnatva Singh Rawat

Full-stack developer · Software developer · Designer

Most people call me AP. I build software where logic meets layout: web applications, internal tools, automation workflows, API-driven systems, and interfaces that make complicated work easier to understand.

I tend to work top-down—understand the wider objective, organise the system, then move into the details that make it dependable. My experience spans production software for small businesses and multinational teams, freelance delivery, open-source development, cloud infrastructure, content strategy, and performance analysis.

🧭 What I Do

  • Build production-ready websites, web applications, dashboards, catalogues, and internal tools.
  • Connect products to APIs, databases, authentication, analytics, content systems, and third-party services.
  • Automate repetitive browser, spreadsheet, reporting, and data-handling workflows.
  • Improve existing applications through maintenance, performance work, SEO foundations, responsive UI, and clearer architecture.
  • Shape early product ideas into focused, testable systems with visible technical trade-offs.
  • Document decisions and handovers so another person can understand, operate, and extend the work.

I’m comfortable working independently in remote and asynchronous teams, but I especially enjoy collaborating close to founders, executives, and small product teams where technical judgment can support the larger business decision.

🏗️ Selected Work

An open-source workout builder for gym trainers, personal trainers, and fitness professionals. It supports AI-assisted workout design, simple client sharing, and an MCP server that exposes its workout-building capabilities to compatible AI clients.

A responsive, content-first website where performance, SEO, asset optimisation, and visual consistency were treated as core product requirements. The design uses varied section compositions within a deliberately limited brand palette. Read the case study.

My final-year engineering thesis explored adaptive traffic optimisation using satellite intelligence instead of hardware-heavy conventional infrastructure. The proof of concept framed the system as a scalable B2B optimisation engine for smart-mobility and navigation ecosystems. Read the thesis.

A standalone Python application for consolidating financial data covering more than $10M in yearly transactions. It reduced a five-day process to roughly 17 minutes and generated 11 reports for downstream review.

A self-hostable, multi-tenant website chatbot with an embeddable customer widget. It uses tenant-specific pages and product catalogues, encrypted per-site credentials, resilient fallbacks, and a production-oriented Docker deployment workflow.

💼 Experience

Full-stack Web Developer · Brownsmith Dynamics
September 2024 – Present

Building and maintaining production websites, catalogues, internal tools, API integrations, automation, and deployment workflows. The work sits across software delivery, online branding, operational systems, and practical AI implementation.

Content & Branding · Motilal Oswal Financial Services
June 2025 – May 2026

Analysed engagement and user journeys, produced stakeholder reporting, and contributed to UX-led content and brand strategy.

Junior Cloud Engineer · Avaya
May 2023 – July 2024

Maintained a multi-region Kubernetes application composed of 16 Dockerised Go and Java microservices running on Azure.

Software Developer · Mount Technics Consultancy
May 2022 – August 2022

Built a Python and Selenium data pipeline that reduced manual intervention by approximately 95%.

🛠️ Tools I Reach For

Area Technologies and capabilities
Languages TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, SQL
Frontend Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, responsive UI, accessibility
Backend & data Node.js, Hono, Flask, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, data reporting
Infrastructure Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, deployment workflows, production support
Motion & visual GSAP, Motion, Three.js
Product work Systems thinking, API integration, automation, SEO, analytics, technical strategy

I choose tools around the problem and the ownership model, not simply around what is newest. A good system should be understandable after launch, not only impressive during the demo.

🧠 Currently Exploring

  • Practical AI integrations and agent-accessible tools.
  • Better interfaces for complex operational workflows.
  • 3D elements, advanced web interactions, and motion systems.
  • Self-hostable software and automation for small teams.
  • The overlap between technical decisions, user journeys, and business strategy.

✍️ Writing & Creative Work

Medium Instagram

I write about technology, personal philosophy, psychology, and the small observations that sit between them. I also share interface experiments, visual work, and creative studies.

🎓 Education

Trinity College Dublin

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, First Class Honours (1:1).
  • Honorary Bachelor of Arts.
  • Thesis on satellite-based traffic intelligence for automated congestion prevention.
  • Worked with Formula Trinity on an autonomous RC-scale racing car.
  • Studied neural-network-based autonomous systems and ethical decision-making.

🧩 About This GitHub

This account is a working archive rather than a perfectly curated showroom. It includes:

  • production and freelance work that can be shared publicly;
  • open-source tools and self-hostable software;
  • computer engineering coursework and thesis work;
  • data analysis, embedded systems, cloud, and automation projects;
  • experiments made to understand an idea by building it.

Some repositories are polished products. Others are snapshots of what I was learning at the time. Both are useful records.

📫 Work With Me

I’m available for selected contract, freelance, and collaborative work, especially around web applications, Next.js development, automation, integrations, responsive interfaces, and existing-product improvement.

Thanks for stopping by. Browse the repositories, inspect the decisions, and feel free to get in touch if something here overlaps with what you’re building.
