Setting for camera app to use (Android)

Add an in-app setting allowing to configure which camera app should be used when adding a picture to a POI from camera. Options should start with "System default" and then list out available camera apps installed on the device.

Would it be possible to add a feature where, when I capture a photo using the in-app camera (or device camera), the image automatically displays the latitude and longitude of the capture location?What I’m looking for specifically:

Latitude & longitude text rendered on the bottom-right corner of the photo
Coordinates taken from the device location at capture time
Implemented in a memory-safe way (avoiding full-resolution bitmap loading)
This would be very useful for location verification and field documentation workflows.

Hello, thanks for proposing the idea. This is a bit tricky because pictures are to be attached to existing POIs in Map Marker, which already have geographic coordinates. Or are you saying that coordinates not matching between the POI and the picture's label wouldn't be a problem?

Are you rather looking for a feature to create a new POI from a picture by importing its geolocation metadata?

Hello, thanks for your response.

To clarify, I am not asking to create a new POI from the photo. I only want to upload a photo taken using a GPS Camera app and attach it to an existing map marker.

The photo already shows the location details (latitude, longitude, date, etc.) printed on the image itself, so a mismatch between EXIF coordinates and the marker position would not be an issue for me.

My main requirement is just to add such location-stamped photos as visual evidence or reference for an existing marker

So if I understand your request properly:

• you have a GPS camera app, which takes pictures and stamps coordinates on the image directly
• when you take pictures with that app on its own, pictures get stored in your device storage
• when adding a picture to a POI in Map Marker, the "add from camera" option opens the default system camera app, not your GPS camera app
• currently, in order to add your GPS camera app pictures to Map Marker POIs, you need to:
  • open your GPS camera app
  • take a picture
  • edit the POI in Map Marker
  • add a picture from gallery
  • select the picture taken from the GPS camera taken
• what you would like instead:
  • be able to configure which camera app gets opened from Map Marker (i.e. your GPS camera app)
  • edit the POI in Map Marker
  • add a picture from camera
  • your GPS camera app gets opened instead of the default system one
  • you take your picture
  • it's added to the POI directly

Did I get this right?

Yes I want to configure GPS camera app or I'll make my other app who can fullfill my desire but just say me how can I configure about from which app I can capture the photo.

Currently, there is no way to select which camera app is used when taking a picture from Map Marker, this would be a feature I yet have to add.

To summarize, I understand I could rewrite your initial feature request to the following:

Yes, I agree. Thanks for understanding my desire. There is one more thing missing about the add custom field, there is one field of multiple choice, inside there I can only add some type of choise and select only one choice, so it is being very difficult if I want more then one choice and also custom choice to write anything. U can take example of google form where we can do it.
