Skip the partial-write integration test when MONGO_TEST is not set.
This file requires the external build tag, so the default go test ./... command does not run this test. When the external tests run without MONGO_TEST, this test passes an empty connection string to MongoClient, which pings MongoDB. Without a reachable MongoDB instance, require.NoError fails the test.

🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Do not convert transient batch errors into item failures.
When partialResults is true, flush turns every error from insertBatchOverwrite into a WriteFailure for each document in the batch. The only exception is context cancellation. The helper returns errors on purpose when the outcome is unclear: a WriteConcernError, a network error, a server timeout, or an out-of-range error index. The doc comment on Lines 853-854 says these errors "always fail the batch." flush then turns them into item failures anyway. The RPC succeeds, and maybeUnavailableError never maps the error to CodeUnavailable.
The protocol says only "known item failures" go in the response. If a network blip happens during a large WriteData call, the caller sees every document reported as a per-item failure instead of a retryable RPC error. Some of those documents may already be written. WriteUpdates handles this differently: errors it cannot attribute still go through maybeUnavailableError.
Only document-specific errors should become item failures, such as a BSON marshal error on a batch of one. Retryable errors and errors with an unclear outcome should still fail the RPC.
