Summary

Workers previously loaded unrelated session updates and project-wide history. MCP now defaults to a directed pending inbox, returns compact registration data, and wakes only the intended recipients. Offline help explains coordinator/worker roles, setup, delivery evidence and recovery.

• Add verified active-turn Codex steering for an explicitly connected owning shared runtime. Native acceptance, assistant receipt and task outcome remain separate; accepted input is not silently replayed.
• Add an optional native worker host with exact expiring coordinator authorization, approved repository aliases, immutable bases and owned Git worktrees. Codex and Claude children use local authentication, durable launch journals and directed results. Uncertain external effects remain fenced.
• Resolve Claude identity through the genuine owning process. Document host setup, quiet communication rules, MCP help and dated native evidence.

Testing

• GitHub Verify passed on Windows, macOS and Ubuntu at 764db3a: lint, 41 backend/MCP tests, existing Playwright flows, directory packaging and packaged smoke checks. The final commit records those results in documentation.
• Minis: lint and 12 lifecycle tests, including a real Windows 8.3 temporary path. Maxis: all 41 compiled backend/MCP tests at 13db89f.
• Native headless Codex and Claude workers completed on Minis, Mac and Maxis with real native IDs, assistant readiness nonces and final assignment markers. Separate Windows Codex 0.159.2 shared-runtime steering produced an authenticated model acknowledgement.
• Controlled Minis hub child exit recovered automatically with authenticated HTTP 200. Reboot/logoff recovery was not exercised. Astra's requested architecture review found no remaining blocker.

Ubuntu machine setup remains blocked by SSH connectivity. Existing Claude Desktop push remains unverified, and the Mac conversation's directed verification acknowledgement is still pending. Five old provider-accepted Codex inputs were preserved because the installed provider has no supported promotion/reconciliation route. New headless worker creation does not deliver into existing desktop chats.
