Summary

  • Adds a test-future-python CI job (Python 3.14 and 3.15) with continue-on-error: true so we can monitor compatibility without blocking the existing 3.10–3.13 matrix.
  • Uses actions/setup-python@v5 with allow-prereleases: true for 3.15.
  • Splits dev fugue extras so Ray is omitted on Python ≥3.14 (Ray has no cp314 wheels yet).

What we expect today

Local uv sync on 3.14 still fails before tests run because neuralforecast pulls ray[tune], and Ray wheels currently stop at cp313. Full TimeCopilot support likely depends on upstream Ray / neuralforecast publishing 3.14+ wheels.

This PR is meant to validate that on Linux CI and track progress over time.

Test plan

  • CI test-future-python (3.14) runs (may fail at dependency install until Ray supports 3.14)
  • CI test-future-python (3.15) runs
  • Existing test matrix on 3.10–3.13 stays green

Made with Cursor

Probe upcoming Python versions in CI without blocking the main matrix, and skip Ray in dev fugue extras on 3.14+ until Ray publishes cp314 wheels.
