VS Code: Reconcile unmerged feature branches #56
Description
Goal
Make main, open feature branches, and project-board status agree on the authoritative VS Code implementation.
Acceptance criteria
- Each outstanding feature branch is either merged through a reviewed pull request or explicitly closed/archived with a rationale.
- The incremental-analysis implementation is either merged and validated or moved out of Review/Testing.
- Board status represents functionality available on
main, not only work present in an unmerged branch. - The final branch decision is documented in the relevant issues or release notes.
Evidence
Link the final pull requests/closed branches and the updated board items.

Deleted feature/problem_panel and feature/tsdetect-engine-integration because their work was merged through PRs #47 and #46.

Deleted pre-tsdetect-prototype because its work is already contained in main

Deleted 'tsdatectkam' because its branch tip was already contained in main through PR #36.

The
tsdetectbranch was not merged and deleted because it uses a different approach to integrating tsDetect, which was replaced by the implementation in PR #46.mayanour4 commentedon Oct 25, 2026
Archived the outdated UI branch using the archive/ui-prototype tag, then deleted the remote branch. The tag preserves its final code without affecting main.
Also, merged newest branch with a reviewed PR. Deleted all leftover merged feature branches.

I also linked the PR for the incremental analysis branch that was validated and merged.
