I think the idea is great. I have experience with folium and I know it is a very good package and the results can be quite nice.
We have some internal tools at this org that already deal with folium, you can reach out to us so we can share some example files with you.

I'd like to add Folium as an optional visualization tool for Flight objects.
What problem does this solve?
Currently, trajectory visualization is limited. Folium would allow users to see launch and landing sites on interactive real-world maps.
