Default-branch CI still listened for pushes to
master, so merges intomainnever ran its tests or documentation deployment. This switches it tomain, adds lint to the default-branch checks, and replaces the obsoletejb build/nonexistent[docs]extra with the repository's MyST build.The generated HTML includes
.nojekyllfor prebuilt branch publication. The artifact check requires both a nonemptyindex.htmland the marker before deployment. Workflow changes run these build checks on pull requests; deployment remains restricted to upstream pushes tomain, with explicit permissions, valid action inputs and the/microdfasset base path.Validation: actionlint and the marker-generation/validation checks pass. Python tests, formatting, lint and towncrier pass. All ten fresh GitHub checks pass, including the complete MyST build and artifact check; deployment is skipped on pull requests. A local rebuild was unavailable because of a listener/network approval restriction, so local checks reused the unchanged builder evidence and an explicitly isolated artifact fixture.
Addresses the default-branch CI blocker in #315.
