A call through call, apply or a bound function passes its receiver to the target, so a built-in method still checks it and a script function cannot see it. bind returns a built-in function owned by the run. Calls between built-ins now count toward the depth limit, so a loop through apply cannot run past maxDepth.
Deleting a property that freeze locked on a function, an error or another value of Maple's own did nothing and returned true; it is now a TypeError, as in JavaScript. A failed delete names the object as JavaScript does, and shrinking the length of an array that is no longer extensible fails as a script error instead of ending the run.
A closure was refused as an entry while a built-in function was read like any other object. Every function is an object in JavaScript, so each is now read for its 0 and 1 the same way.
Merge each release back into increment
Accept any function as an entry in Object.fromEntries
Add Object.seal and Object.isSealed
Support call, apply and bind
An error whose name or message led back to itself was converted until the host ran out of stack, ending the run past the script's catch and finally. Converting errors inside one another now stops at the nesting limit with JavaScript's RangeError, and join cuts a cycle through an array across nested conversions, as JavaScript does.
Make converting a cyclic error a catchable RangeError
Array methods ran the host's implementation as a.slice(), which an own property of the same name on the script's array shadowed, ending the run with an internal error. They now call it through Array.prototype.
Call the host's array methods past a script's own property
