Follow-up to #346. Removing the explicit kotlin-stdlib-jdk8 declarations let okhttp 4.12.0 pull kotlin-stdlib-jdk7/-jdk8 down from 2.2.21 to 1.8.21. This adds kotlin-bom as a platform in configureKotlin(), which the application, library, test and buildconfig conventions call. The BOM's catalog entry uses the same kotlin version as the Kotlin plugin, so the Android modules resolve Kotlin artifacts at 2.2.21 again.

dependencyGuard baseline

  • kotlin-stdlib-jdk7 and kotlin-stdlib-jdk8 are back to 2.2.21.
  • org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-bom:2.2.21 is listed, like the existing kotlinx-coroutines-bom and kotlinx-serialization-bom.

Compared with the baseline before #346, the only difference is the kotlin-bom line.

Verification

  • All modules compile (Android debug and JVM).
  • ./gradlew dependencyGuard manifestShield proguardShieldFast moduleRules passes. The proguardShield, manifestShield and module-rules baselines are unchanged.

Removing the explicit kotlin-stdlib-jdk8 declarations in #346 let
okhttp 4.12.0 pull kotlin-stdlib-jdk7/jdk8 down to 1.8.21. Add
kotlin-bom, at the Kotlin plugin's version, as a platform in
configureKotlin(), so the Android modules resolve Kotlin artifacts at
2.2.21 again.
