Release builds now run the existing Python, golden-record, and Rust checks before the distributions can be published. Each platform also installs its freshly built wheel into a temporary environment and checks the command-line entry point and extension with a synthetic deck-data document.
The CI workflow is reusable, with concurrency scoped to its caller so ordinary CI and release checks can run independently.
