maple-agent: Clicking the New Task button does not immediately result in a new task screen

When clicking on New Task, I have to wait a few seconds before the app updates the screen and takes me to the New Task screen. At first I didn't think the button worked at all. Turns out it is delayed a few seconds before changing. I don't know the underlying reason why. Here is a screen recording. You can see the moment the button is clicked because the background behind the New Task button changes briefly. Then it takes between 2-5 seconds before the New Task screen appears.

This doesn't happen on all my computers running the GPUI agent. Some of them change almost instantly, but still with a slight delay. If some underlying things need to be set up before going starting a new task, it would be nice for the UI to change immediately to the New Task screen while allowing the background things to be set up. If we need to be extra safe, we could disable the send button for the new task until the underlying things are completed. It's likely a user would never notice because they are busy entering info into the input box.
