maple-agent: Add a default Maple Workspace

As a new user, I want to start tasks immediately in a dedicated Maple workspace without choosing a folder or having tasks default to my home directory.

Create and reuse ~/Maple (the equivalent user-home location on macOS, Windows, and Linux), displayed as Maple Workspace in both project dropdowns. It starts empty, persists across launches, and is shared by tasks created there.

Make it available to everyone and the default for new users. Preserve existing startup project selection, projects, and tasks; no migration is needed.

The current default is the user's $HOME directory on their computer. This is confusing because it is often the user's name. And it's a potentially large blast radius for a user with a new agent because that directory likely contains a majority of the data on their computer. I'd like to scope the new user experience to an empty Maple folder. The user is able to select any other folder when ready.

I think it makes more sense if there’s a workspace folder in the hidden maple location, not making a new directory in the home. I guess that’s ~/.maple ? not sure where we are storing configs and other application files right now.

Depends on if we want the user to have access to the files. They will likely create artifacts and documents in this workspace, so ~/Maple would make sense for that. The other option is to put it in something like ~/Library/Application Support/Maple/workspace. It's technically accessible to users, but is usually meant to be abstracted away from the user. the Library folder is hidden by default in Finder.

• Codex defaults to ~/Documents/Codex as a workspace.
• Claude Code requires the user to select a folder.

We could do ~/Documents/Maple. I initially considered that, but it potentially triggers a permissions dialog "Maple wants to access your Documents folder" that I was trying to avoid.

~/Documents/Maple is a "safer" place to put it and it also has the benefit that it can be synced automatically through iCloud if the user has that setting turned on.
