Allow decimal ~> 3.0 alongside ~> 2.0 and lock decimal 3.1.2, which fixes EEF-CVE-2026-32686 and EEF-CVE-2026-97853. Bump the dev-only pillar transitive deps tesla 1.15.3 -> 1.18.3, mint 1.7.1 -> 1.10.2 and hpax 1.0.3 -> 1.0.4. Run mix hex.audit as a blocking CI step. Why
mix hex.auditreported 22 security advisories in the lockfile, and CI did not run the audit, so new advisories could land unnoticed.What changed
mix.exs:~> 2.0→~> 2.0 or ~> 3.0)Decimal 3.0's breaking change is the decimal128 default context (precision 34, bounded exponent). natch only uses
Decimal.new/1,Decimal.mult/2andDecimal.to_integer/1to encodeDecimal64(9)columns (at most 18 digits), well inside those bounds. The constraint keeps~> 2.0so downstream apps still on decimal 2.x are not forced to upgrade.mix format --check-formattedpasses locally. The NIF needs cmake to build from source, which isn't available on my machine, so compile and tests are verified by this PR's CI.Ignored advisories
None.
