This is the exact same bug as #564 and needed for OPALX. See this PR for an explanation.
This PR changes particle attribute assignment from an extended lambda to a named functor. Performance wise this change should be equivalent and not make a difference, similar to #564. This PR is needed to merge fixes for OPALX, see OPALX-project/OPALX#571.
