I work at the intersection of machine learning, chemometrics, signal processing, and infrared spectroscopy. My research focuses on FTIR and FT-NIR spectroscopy, spectral processing, calibration transfer, and quantitative modeling.
I am particularly interested in developing reproducible computational methods that improve the accuracy, stability, reproducibility, and transferability of spectroscopic machine learning models.

- Developing Python workflows for FT-NIR/FT-MIR interferogram-to-spectrum processing, including apodization, zero-filling, FFT, phase correction, and spectral preprocessing.
- Designing chemometric experiments using PLS regression and group-aware cross-validation to study how signal-processing choices affect predictive performance and spectral stability.
- Investigating calibration transfer methods including Direct Standardization (DS), Piecewise Direct Standardization (PDS), and domain adaptation for model generalization across instruments and production environments.
