Summary

  • link the published sdk-v1.4.0 release from the README and site
  • record the signed tag and exact 15-asset publication in the changelog and status matrix
  • update the site verifier to require published-release claims and reject stale candidate language

Why

  • the release workflow completed successfully, so the candidate-only documentation is now stale

Testing

  • make check
  • python3 scripts/verify_site.py
  • python3 -m unittest tests.test_release_policy
  • downloaded all 15 release assets and verified SHA256SUMS
  • verified the annotated tag SSH signature against .github/release-signers

Risks

  • documentation and static-site state only; BBP ABI and release artifacts are unchanged
