shutil.rmtreestops at the first read-only file, and Git marks the files under.git/objectsread-only, sodelete(recursive=True)can't remove a cloned repository on Windows and suggests an elevated terminal, which doesn't help. Directory overwrite incopy/movehits the same wall. The three rmtree calls now clear the read-only attribute and retry, asrd /sdoes; single-file delete is unchanged, and locked files still report Permission denied.git init+git gcrepo that failed on main now deletes.uv run --extra dev pytestpasses andruff checkis clean.
