Issue references

Validation

  • uv run --locked --extra benchmark -- bash scripts/validate.sh — exit 0 (Python 3.12).
  • check_next_tasks_dates.py, check_summary_coverage.py, check_threshold_evidence_status.py, git diff --check — pass.

PR #912 merged as 922fae2 and closed #907-#910 and #913, but NEXT_TASKS.md
still recorded the pre-merge snapshot (13 issues, PR #912 open) and listed
the guide correction as tracked, unmerged work and the first recommended
direction. Left as is, the file would send the next session to finish work
that is already delivered.

Refresh both reconciliation stamps against main 922fae2 with 8 open issues
and 0 open PRs (checked against REST search and GraphQL totals), keep the
2026-10-17 snapshot as history, move the guide correction to delivered work
with its documentation-only scope stated, and renumber the two remaining
proposed directions. The seven scientific issues and #911 keep their
dispositions; none received a comment since the previous reconciliation.
