Malformed replicate IDs and outcomes previously crashed the conformance validator, while invalid timestamps could pass. Validate schema types before design/audit calculations, reject malformed JSON/file inputs as structured violations, and pass an active RFC3339 format checker (stdlib fallback when the optional checker is absent). JSON mode emits one parseable JSON payload; every violation exits1.
