Building the UI infrastructure for AI-era software development.
The open ecosystem co-creating AtomUI — the Ant Design 6 component system for Avalonia/.NET desktop applications.
Software development is entering an AI-native era. Coding agents now write a growing share of production code, and the applications they assemble are only as trustworthy as the infrastructure they stand on. No layer of that stack is harder — or more decisive — than UI, because UI is where design intent and engineering discipline must meet.
AtomUI exists to be that foundation: the Ant Design 6 design language and enterprise component system for Avalonia/.NET, engineered so that humans and AI agents can build desktop applications on it with confidence — on Windows, macOS and Linux, from a single C#/XAML codebase.
AtomUI Community is where this foundation is built and adopted together: applications, tools, templates and showcases from real projects, with every lesson flowing back into the platform.
- Design tokens as contracts. The full Ant Design token model is expressed as machine-readable, themeable data on top of Avalonia's resource system — a structured agreement between design and code that scales from one app to an entire product line.
- Generators over reflection. Source generators produce controls, theme tokens, localization and startup registration at compile time, giving builds that are deterministic, static and first-class NativeAOT citizens — exactly the properties agents and compilers can rely on.
- Enterprise interaction patterns, built in. A complete control system for layout, navigation, data entry, feedback and data display, with opt-in DataGrid, ColorPicker and Extras packages.
- Global by default. English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese localization out of the box, driven by compiled translation bundles.
- Native performance, AI-native apps. Real AtomUI applications already ship as NativeAOT single-file binaries — including AI agent clients, where the desktop is rapidly becoming the place where agents do real work.
This organization is the co-building space of the AtomUI ecosystem: applications built on AtomUI, developer tooling, templates and real-world showcases — each one proof of the platform, each one feedback into it.
| Project | What it is |
|---|---|
| TKCode | A native desktop AI agent client built with Avalonia and AtomUI — an early example of AI-era software built on AtomUI infrastructure. Multi-provider (OpenAI / Anthropic protocols), resumable local sessions, command palette, NativeAOT-ready. Early development. |
| StreamMark | Streaming-first Markdown rendering for Avalonia: frozen stable blocks, healed tail, native self-drawn text with no WebView. Backs TKCode's chat views. |
| CxShell | A cross-platform SSH/SFTP and remote session client: multi-tab terminal, transfer panels, server monitoring, RDP, and classic network or serial protocols in one workspace. |
| AtomBox | A cross-platform desktop manager for OSS, FTP/SFTP and WebDAV storage: multi-account setup, bucket and directory browsing, uploads and downloads, and a transfer queue with history — all in one AtomUI workspace. |
| RedisMe | A native Redis desktop client with an accordion connection tree and tabbed key, status and CLI views. SCAN-based browsing and full editors for every Redis data type. |
| AtomPix | A local-first image toolkit: browse a folder in a fluid gallery, then compress, convert, resize or crop without uploading anything. Batch operations report real input and output sizes; no account or subscription required. |
| AegisVault (玄钥) | A local-first, zero-knowledge password manager: encrypted SQLite vault (Argon2id + AES-256-GCM), no cloud sync, no telemetry, NativeAOT single-file builds for Windows, Linux and macOS. |
| AtomNES | A cycle-accurate NES/Famicom emulator built on AtomUI: per-cycle 6502, dot-based PPU, 106 mappers, expansion audio, battery saves and a debugger — NativeAOT and trim-ready for Windows and Linux. |
