Part of #718.
A linear and a quadratic at one power that is not whole, whose product is
A + B x^3, are integrated as(L^p Q^p/(A + B x^3)^p) · ∫ g (A + B x^3)^p. For example,(1 + x)(1 - x + x^2)is1 + x^3, and the rules for a power of a binomial answer the rest. The quotient is constant on each interval between the roots, for the same reason as in #1897, and the joined integral is checked against the joined integrand.Rubi corpus, against master d05d20d (both arms built and run in one chain; master then moved to 35c9ba5, merged here):
The three are 1.2.1.2:2919, 2922 and 2925, which were declined on master and are answered here in under half a second. There are no losses, no wrong answers, and no solved row more than 2× slower. The performance gate and the unit suite (15,410 passed) pass. The exact check at 50–2,000 digits agrees on all three, including where the cube roots are complex, 60/60.
BREAKING-CHANGES.mdhas an entry for the three, measured on 2.5.0 and on this branch.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
