# Issue 12 - October 2026

**Welcome** / **bienvenidos** / **bienvenue** / **bem-vindos** / to the twelfth issue of *Programming Historian*’s **bulletin** / **boletín** / **bulletin** / **boletim**. In this issue, we highlight recently published lessons and translations, and share news from our editorial teams including heartfelt thanks and warm welcomes. We also celebrate the completion of the ENABLAR project, sharing openly available materials, and offering our sincere thanks to the cohort for their creativity and care, and to [Jisc](https://www.jisc.ac.uk/) for making the work possible. We invite expressions of interest from those keen to volunteer as peer reviewers – a rewarding way to develop technical skills and contribute to collaborative, sustainable, open scholarship. And, as always, we give grateful thanks to our community of Institutional Partners and Patreons, whose investment helps ensure our work remains sustainable.

## ENABLAR: Wrapping up

ENABLAR's funded phase has come to an end, and we’re grateful to [Jisc](https://www.jisc.ac.uk/) for making it possible. Our cohort of library, archive and digital humanities professionals has co-authored four practical lessons in computational methods, now being prepared for peer review.

The workshop materials, slides and guidance on adapting lessons for CPD are openly available in our community on Zenodo: [zenodo.org/communities/programminghistorian](https://zenodo.org/communities/programminghistorian). Recordings are on our YouTube channel: [youtube.com/@ProgrammingHistorian](https://www.youtube.com/@ProgrammingHistorian).

Huge thanks to the cohort for their creativity and care, and to everyone who joined our workshops and shared their feedback. We’ll share updates as the lessons progress.

---
## Renewing our Call for Reviewers

You might be an educator, a researcher, a PhD candidate, a Research Software Engineer, a librarian, a linguist, a historian - if you share our interest in using digital methods to acquire, transform, analyse, present or preserve data, we’d love to hear from you.

**Please register your interest to participate in your preferred language(s):** [**Form in English**](https://tinyurl.com/en-ph-peer-review) // [**Formulario en español**](https://tinyurl.com/es-ph-revision-por-pares) // [**Formulaire en français**](https://tinyurl.com/fr-ph-evaluation) // [**Formulário em português**](https://tinyurl.com/pt-ph-revisao-por-pares).
