Issues

• mipv6: the home agent does not proxy Neighbor Discovery for an absent mobile node, so hosts on the home link cannot reach it

• icmpv6: a second Router Discovery on one interface leaves a freed timer behind

  inet-framework/inet#1265 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 30, 2026

• networklayer: an IPv6-in-IPv6 tunnel loses ECN at its entry and at its exit point

  inet-framework/inet#1263 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 30, 2026

• mipv6: mobility messages sent on a pinned interface go to the link-layer broadcast address

  inet-framework/inet#1261 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 30, 2026

• ipv6: Router Advertisements carry Reachable Time and Retrans Timer in seconds, not milliseconds

  inet-framework/inet#1259 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 30, 2026

• ipv6: Neighbour Unreachability Detection keeps a neighbour REACHABLE for a fixed 30 s

  inet-framework/inet#1258 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 30, 2026

• ipv6: address resolution ignores the configured and advertised RetransTimer

  inet-framework/inet#1257 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 30, 2026

• ipv6: a datagram originated into a tunnel interface carries its link-local source fe80:: off-link

  inet-framework/inet#1255 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 30, 2026

• ipv6: Duplicate Address Detection completes for an already removed address

  inet-framework/inet#1253 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 29, 2026

• ipv6: a tunnel exit point deletes a hook-dropped decapsulated datagram twice

  inet-framework/inet#1251 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 29, 2026

• queueing: EcnMarker handles only IPv4, so RED with useEcn drops ECN-capable IPv6 packets

  inet-framework/inet#1249 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 29, 2026

• ipv6: a host copies the Router Advertisement MTU option into LinkMTU but never sends with it

  inet-framework/inet#1248 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 29, 2026

• pmipv6: the local mobility anchor does not order Proxy Binding Updates, so a delayed one from the previous gateway re-points the prefix

  inet-framework/inet#1242 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 29, 2026

• examples: five pmipv6 network parameters are final, so ini and command-line overrides are silently ignored

  inet-framework/inet#1240 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 29, 2026

• examples: the pmipv6 mobile node runs Mobile IPv6, although the example says it runs no mobility software

  inet-framework/inet#1239 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 29, 2026

• mipv6: the Proxy Registration flag of a Binding Acknowledgement is serialized at 0x40, the Mobile Router flag, instead of 0x20

• icmpv6: Redirect messages are not rate limited

  inet-framework/inet#1235 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 29, 2026

• icmpv6: the Target Address of a Redirect to a router is the route's next hop as configured, not the router's link-local address

  inet-framework/inet#1234 · Filter by author adamgeorge309 opened on Sep 29, 2026

• ipv6: a router sends an ICMPv6 Redirect to a source that is not a neighbour
